Manager

Waterford & South Tipperary Community Youth Service is a long established community based youth organisation serving the catchment area of Waterford City and County and part of south Tipperary.

Applications are now invited from motivated, experienced and suitably qualified professionals ready to join our management team and to contribute to the leadership and management of our organisation’s staff, programmes, services and facilities.
This post will be based in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

Candidates will possess:

• Proven background of successful project leadership
• Demonstrable experience of management, support and supervision of Staff
• Excellent communication, inter-personal and team work skills
• Keen analytical, planning, organisation and evaluation skills
• Experience of leading practice development including the design and delivery of training
• Experience of premises ,facilities and financial management
• Knowledge and experience of the youth and community sector
• Demonstrable experience of innovation and design of community responses
• Capacity to develop strategic relationships and partnerships
• Third level qualification in a relevant discipline
