Description
The LGBT Wellbeing Project aims to support LGBT young people aged 18 to 24 years in Waterford and South Tipperary, to realise their potential in living healthy and happy lives.
What we do:
- We provide a space for LGBT young adults to come and meet their peers in a safe and supportive environment.
- The main methodology of work is developmental group work whereby young people decide their own priorities and work together to explore shared issues.
- Groups typically share time undertaking creative activities, group discussions, and offer peer support to one another typically over a cup of tea.
- One to one support can be offered where it is needed.
