Primary Target Group
Our primary target group is young people aged between 10 and 25 years, particularly those who are disadvantaged and/or “at risk”. The Drugs and Drugs Outreach Projects, in line with their specific Project remit, target individuals (both young people and adults), families and/or communities affected by substance misuse.
Partnerships & Collaborations
We are big believers in partnerships, linkages and exchanges, wherever possible:
- Effective collaborative and mutually beneficial working arrangements with mainstream service providers and programmes
- Established working alliances with community interests
- Continuous liaison with frontline service providers
- Young people, families, communities and service providers in strategic partnership towards effective design and delivery of responses
- Specific service delivery/funding linkages with DCYA, POBAL, Youth Work Ireland, HSE, Waterford and Wexford ETB, CDYSB, IYJS and ESF, SERDATF, Tipperary ETB, Solas, DSP and Leargas
- Active representation and collaboration with Waterford CYPSC and TUSLA Local Area Pathways/Child and Family Support Networks
