Description

The UBU Community Youth Project in Carrick‑on‑Suir provides a safe, inclusive, and youth‑centred space for young people aged 10–24 years. The project takes a strengths-based and needs-led approach, collaborating with schools, community organisations. This project will run from Monday to Friday after school, evenings and weekends. Through participation in this programme, young people will enhance communication, confidence, planning and problem solving, resilience, creativity, and emotional intelligence, helping them progress towards education, training, and positive life opportunities, in line with the objectives of the UBU Your Place Your Space Scheme.

The service offers regular weekly sessions, including structured group work, open drop ins, and themed activities tailored to young people’s interests and needs. Activities include;
