Description
Youth Information Centres (YICs) provide a free, confidential information service to young people and those who work with them on a wide range of subjects including careers, education, employment matters, rights and entitlements, leisure, sport, travel and European opportunities.
They are a first point of contact for a young person seeking information on any subject of interest or concern.
Trained and friendly staff are available to help find or interpret the information required. These staff work in close co-operation with other relevant voluntary and statutory agencies and will refer young people to them when further information or specialist help is required.
Our vision: Young people will have the ability, skills, confidence and knowledge to use and apply information to become active citizens and better participate in society.
Youth Information provide access to a fully equipped IT room to assist young people to navigate their way through online information and use the space to study for driver theory tests and job seeking.
