Here for Youth

Youth Work Ireland Week

Youth Work Ireland week took place April 13th – 20th. The theme this year was ‘Cut from the Same Cloth’. Activities throughout the week worked with young people across our UBU Projects to identify Inclusion and Diversity.

Dungarvan UBU Project did some random acts of kindness, delivering chocolates to local community members who they thought deserved it. Farronshoneen CYP completed the Cut from the Same Cloth art activity  & learned about Kindness and dreamt about what their communities were like if everyone was kind. The Shy Project looked at connection and bringing people together.  Ballybeg did a great activity The Picassos enjoying their Youth Work Ireland activity today- Cut From The Same Cloth

In the end we all belong to one race – the human race. It is the unity in our diversity that makes us strong and our kindness that makes us stronger.
