NOTES OF BALANCE TRAINING COURSE, JUNE 2025

The “Notes of Balance” course took place in an atmosphere of trust and camaraderie, where youth workers were able to dedicate time to something they rarely allow themselves: taking care of their own well-being. From the outset, the program conveyed the message that personal well-being is not a luxury, but an essential part of working with young people.

Throughout the sessions, participants explored self-care strategies, learned to identify early signs of stress, and discovered how to integrate practices of psychological well-being into their daily lives. Gradually, it became evident that the group was gaining a sense of ease, confidence, and new tools for managing the pressures inherent in their work.

The course combined evidence-based theory with practical activities, making each session both useful and meaningful. There was space for reflection, sharing experiences, and recognizing that only by taking care of themselves can professionals offer genuine and sustainable support to the young people they work with.

Upon completion, the participants gained much more than just knowledge: a shared sense of balance, resilience, and renewed motivation. “Notes of Balance” proved to be a transformative experience that empowers youth workers and, consequently, has a positive impact on the young people they support.
