Here for Youth

Erasmus+ Youth Worker Training

In January 2025, 3 of our Youth Workers travelled to Estonia to take part in an Erasmus+ Youth Worker training. 25 participants from eight countries Estonia, Cyprus, Greece, Slovenia, Ireland, Italy, Northern Macedonia and Portugal took part in a training course in non-formal education recognition.

Topics over the week that were covered included: Defining the youth worker, leadership, the importance of key competences and also delivering a lesson in a local school. Great fun, entertainment and learning was had over the week. The Group also got to partake in local excursions while they were there which included a trip to the youth department, natural park and lunch at the local village.
