European Youth Week at WSTCYS
The European Youth Week 2026 ran from 24 April to 1 May 2026, with the core theme of “Solidarity and Fairness”. This edition focused on youth engagement, active citizenship, and the 30th anniversary of volunteering in Europe. Here at WSTCYS we celebrated with events and workshops that explored the Theme
Comhairle na nOg held a marquee at the West Waterford Festival of Food. Our members wandered the crowds to ask the Public what they though Solidarity and Fairness meant and the role of the EU.
Clonmel CYP held a workshop with young people exploring the theme and creating artistic Posters highlighting what Solidarity and Fairness meant to them.
The XLC Younglings also made posters and engaged in a fun quiz with fantastic prizes.
