Manor CYP goes sustainable at SETU

Manor Street CYP were kindly invited by SETU College to take part in their Sustainability Launch Day — a fantastic celebration of ideas, creativity, and action led by young people 🌱
Praise, Wictor, and Ben hosted a vibrant “Go Green” table, sharing simple but meaningful ways to live more sustainably. Visitors were invited to bring home herbs planted in compostable pots — including lavender, coriander, parsley, chives, and mint — encouraging everyone to grow their own at home.

Ben also showcased handmade jewellery crafted from seashells collected on our local beach, highlighting how natural materials can be transformed into something beautiful and lasting.
To top it off, the team offered refreshing cold infusions made from herbs and fruits, naturally enriching the water with vitamins while promoting a healthy, sustainable alternative to sugary drinks.
The table brought together sustainability through planting, creativity, and wellbeing — a brilliant example of how small actions can make a big difference 🌍
