PACT YDP present at Youth Work Ireland Convention
The PACT Youth Diversion Project was proud to be selected to present at the recent Youth Work Ireland Convention, which took place in Dublin on Saturday June 13th. The theme of the Convention was “Youth Justice Interventions in the context of Youth Work Ireland’s Integrated Youth Services Model”. The PACT presentation focused on the process and outcomes of our hugely successful European Youth Work Project “Pathways to Nature” which took place over a 2-year period and involved participants from the PACT and SWAY Youth Diversion Projects, Ballybeg Community Youth Project and Clonmel Community Youth Project. This was a great opportunity to showcase and celebrate the young people’s Nature-Based Initiatives and to highlight WSTCYS’ approach to an audience of fellow Youth Workers and Youth Service Managers as well as strategic stakeholders from the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration and the Department of Children and Youth. We hope we planted seeds of inspiration with attendees to follow their own Pathways to Nature with young people, wherever they may be J
