Waterford Comhairle na nOg AGM
Waterford’s Comhairle na nOg (Youth Council) held their annual AGM in The Park Hotel, Dungarvan 11th October 2022. The event was attended by young people from Schools and Youth Projects accross Waterford. There was over 100 young people in attendance with Relationship &Sexual Education being the topic for the day. The young people engaged in a consultation process on their thoughts on the big issues young people in Waterford are facing today. They also received a workshop from Anne Scully from the Waterford Rape Crisis centre on the importance of consent.
Thank you to Bonnie Beoux who gave a fantastic dance workshop that got everyone up and dancing with eachother and finishing with the importance of self love and appreciation.
