Youth Work Ireland Week 2020

Youth Work Ireland Week starts this Saturday 9th-16th May. The theme for this year is #myplanetmypledge The theme looks at how we can change our planet by making little changes ourselves. WSTCYS are having an organisational competition to mark YWI Week this year. With everyone at home it will hopefully give a little boost to the young people we work with . This is a Creative competition that is open to all members of Youth Projects, Youth Clubs, Diversion Projects and the XLC. This is not open to any young person who is not connected to the organisation.

Creativity comes in many forms and young people are encouraged to use whichever method they like be it art, craft, song, photography, design or whatever they view as being creative. There is 5 different age categories with three winners in each category. I have attached the footprint design by YWI which can be sent to those who may wish to just design the foot. Prizes are Just Eat vouchers which will either be emailed or posted to the winner. The identity of the entries will be held by the Youth Information Centre unless specific consent is sought from winning entries for publishing reasons.

Please encourage your young people to take part,  they can email their entries to waterfordyic@wstcys.ie or whatsapp 0863811738
